I’m not. But I’ll manage.
I’m not. But I’ll manage.
Okay. So I pinch it between my fingers the same way you do with the stomach then, right?
Despite my high DIY dosage, I don’t think the E is really working throughout the entire week. I feel distinctly worse on some days than others.
Does anybody have any resources for doing SubQ buttock injections? How easy is it to miss the spot, and what can happen if I do?
No, I don’t think so
Just did my 4th shot. It only took me like 12 minutes this time!
I felt this strange numbing, almost “sucking” feeling around the needle after it had been in my stomach for a few seconds. I didn’t get scared and pull it out again, thankfully, but I’d appreciate it if anyone knows what I’m talking about.
Did my third shot a couple days ago. Somehow, I think each time has taken longer than the last. But on the bright side, I got it all in there this time! It’s definitely working to some extent, but I have no way of knowing if it’s “enough”.
I probably blew on it. But I won’t worry about it.
It’s not like it even hurts that much! They’re only half an inch in my case; it’s less painful than scratching myself. I guess the penetration just makes it feel scarier.
Yeah, it’s just because I had the needle exposed for so long before using it. Even though I never put it down or let it touch anything.
I just did my second injection. I don’t know why, but for some reason I was more scared to put the needle in this time. I sat there holding the syringe full of estrogen for like 20 minutes after I filled it up, and now I’m worried it got infected. I’m sure I’ll get better at this soon, but I thought that it would be easier the second time…
And I chickened out before I got it all in again. The thing is, most people say Lena’s recommended dosage of 0.22ml at 50 mg/ml is way too high, so I’m not really worried about losing 0.6ml, but I wish I were at least brave enough to do the full thing.
I feel kinda weird again, but I know it’s in my head.
No, it’s still reassuring to know that I can’t be delivering it wrong, at least. Thank you
I’m glad to know the injection itself isn’t dangerous. I don’t know if you’ve read the other comments on this account, but this is a vial I brewed myself, so I think it does have quite a bit of potential to go wrong. I’m mostly worried that I’m injecting something I shouldn’t be.
cause the hormones to not work or something
TBH this is a bigger fear than infection for me. But if anything, I’m probably injecting too much estrogen.
Thank you. I think I’ll be fine next time, I just needed to be more prepared to ignore how it felt. Counting would probably help
I finally did an injection for the first time. I did it through the stomach - I got most of it in there, but I chickened out at the last second because it started feeling tingly and I panicked. In hindsight, it was probably the alcohol causing a reaction, which is probably fine.
You can probably tell by reading my other posts that I’m very paranoid about something going wrong, which didn’t help, because I got so nervous after doing it that it got harder to breathe, which made me think something went wrong… But after a few hours, I’m pretty sure it went well. Now I just have to hope it works, because it’s really out of my hands now.
I’ve just finished sterilizing my first vial. It looks completely clear when still. I’m pretty sure the little specks I see when I shake it now are just tiny bubbles. (I really hope so, anyway…)
I should probably wait until tomorrow to inject, since injecting something that was just in 240°F temperatures doesn’t sound wise.
It’s like the girliest snowglobe…
I did the water test, and the bottles were labeled correctly. So nothing wrong on that front, at least. The EEn has dissolved to the point where I can only see little specks when I shake up the bottle. Hoping it finishes over the weekend.
That makes way more sense than what I was thinking… I was imagining dropping water into a cup of oil and a cup of alcohol, but I suppose the reverse would be way easier. I might try that later just to make sure I got it right.
Assuming I did it right, then yes. Getting things into the vial was a bit finicky, but the steps were rather straightforward. I think I had more trouble with the metal cap than anything else. I had to use a flat screwdriver to pry it off in several places over the course of a few minutes. If you’re not gentle enough, you might not be able to crimp it back on.
Thanks for answering my first comment a few weeks ago, by the way. I was worried someone else would see the package and get suspicious, but it just had FedEx info on it.
I accidentally touched the needle after putting the E in my syringe, so I injected it into my bed before I threw it away. Will it make my mattress softer?
