      Self control isn’t always about not doing tempting things.

      A key element of self control is knowing enough about yourself as an organism, to be able to limit your exposure to those things so you can put your energy into getting on with your life.

      Those who don’t do that are way more likely to break. It’s like the Derren Brown kitten-killing experiment.

      In that sense there’s nothing wrong about recognizing a platform is tempting and avoiding it. There’s also nothing wrong with memeing about that.
