Tried to research exactly what anarcho-syndicalists comrade Sankara was talking about but came up empty as there were seemingly no major anarchist movements in west Africa at the time (shocker). Most likely, I think, he was referring moreso to dipshit French groups who were denouncing muhthoritarianism or whatever at the time. So this tweet may have even more colonial implications than what’s seen at face value.
iirc there were some of those anti-communist unions cropping up that are one of the main vehicles for color revolutions. Anarchists love a good “opposition” union.

Yeah, it is most likely referring to the fact he banned those reactionary unions, which syndicalist didn’t like.
