France’s far-right leader Marine Le Pen faces the prospect of being banned from running in the 2027 presidential election if found guilty of embezzling EU funds. But a guilty verdict, if it comes, could be a blessing for Le Pen’s photogenic protégé Jordan Bardella, leaving the 29-year-old with a clear path to the Elysée Palace.

I think it’s probably good bring fascists to justice. There will almost always be other fascists to replace them, I dont think this means that we should not take action. Bringing her to justice might be a good start to bring even more people of her kind to justice:)

I agree with you. Even after taking into consideration that a conviction will create fascist narratives like those mentioned in the article and most probably more of that kind.

that a conviction will create fascist narrative

The other way round. Fascists create their own narratives no matter what we do. For example, at the beginning of the Covid pandemic, the german AfD were among the first to cry for curfews, lockdown and mask mandates. Just to cry ”dictatorship“ when said measures where implemented.
When you don’t ban fascists from elections they say: ”Look, we can’t be that bad otherwise we were banned,“ but when there’s discussion about banning a fascist party they cry about being oppressed.
If you want to act without fascists creating a narrative of oppression, you won’t be able to act at all.
