I kinda think if you can’t tolerate the odd mean email you shouldn’t be an MP. How different is that to what we see at PMQs where they’re yelling at each other all the time anyway?
Do MPs even read their own emails? The few times I’ve emailed my MP (politely, I should add!) I’ve got a response from some intern.

They’re not super-friendly at PMQs but there are rules about what you’re allowed to say, which is not the case for emails.
I’ve found it varies, but I have had personal replies from MPs, including people who weren’t my own MP.
