    So… how do you reduce something like people crossing a border beyond one hundred percent ?

        I thought of this one but a deportation or just leaving aren’t illegal crossings… So it wouldn’t work!

        And trying to get out of the country crossing illegally is still an illegal crossing, so, it doesn’t make sense

        I also considered this one, illegally crossing in the opposite direction is still illegally crossing, so, it doesn’t explain the math

      For some reason, people will sometimes flip the fraction when calculating decreasing percentages, so this roughly means that the old number of crossings is beyond one hundred percent greater than the current number of border crossings. It’s really dumb
