Now that is a substantial amount of users on here now (from a particular source that looks awfully like Lemmy but is very corporate ewww). What are some tips and tricks for using lemmy or the fediverse in general to help those new users to get accustomed to this platform?
Searching across instances and finding communities can be tricky. I can’t on jerboa, only on desktop. If you know of a community but it still refuses to show up in your search results, copy and paste the full (handle? Url?) such as:
!community@lemmy.etc
The community should appear on your results and you’d be then able to subscribe
