People are being told, all the time, by practically the whole of society, that this is the way to live. It’s a powerful social mechanism. Why else would people volunteer to test out an experimental vaccine? And that happened all around the globe, not just in the US.

Are the spiritual/natural/hippy types also doing this ? If not, then I would actually expect them to behave more sanely than the TikTok crowd
