Used to be able to find grey market vendors on Reddit years ago, does this platform allow that?
Save that kinda stuff for Dread or other darknet forums, moderating it on clearnet would be a nightmare, even setting aside the legal issues its a terrible idea to use a public forum on the clear net to source drugs, moderating it would be a complete nightmare just in dealing with scammers and spam alone.
There used to be clear net vendors for grey market RCs back in the day. And we used clearnet forms to share and discuss reputable vendors.
I wasn’t talking about black market at all, but I suppose times have changed in the last decade, and honestly probably not a great idea for Lemmy.

Yeah there was a time, but scammers are much much more prevalent now as are bots and things that would make manipulating votes easy
I would assume that is against the laws of the country in which this server is hosted, so I would also assume the answer to that question is a firm no. Keep in mind that the server hosts in the fediverse typically aren’t companies with teams of lawyers on retainer, but individual hobbyists and enthusiasts. It would be a bit of a dick move to expose community volunteers to that kind of liability imo.
