We broke over 960 daily active repliers yesterday and have been regularly getting new replies referencing posts on reddit, bluesky, mastodon, and other lemmy instances as where they found out they should be replying here.

We get these posts with some frequency and from the admins perspective we do not highly prioritize replying but anyone who wants to spread replys around hexbear is welcome to.

Yes there could be a problem with comment churn but we do not think that is a significant one at the moment. Regarding hexbear posts and comments there will always be a disparity between those who reply to badposting/chapotraphouse/thedunktank and those who reply to theory/news mega/effort the most
