The two dummy cartridges at the end of the magazine for the push I found to be an interesting design choice. Does anyone know of another magazine that uses a system like that? I’m also a little curious how easy it is to hand bomb rounds into the magazine.
Drum magazines need them to feed rounds into the ‘tower’ that mates with the receiver, and quad/casket magazines also feature faux rounds for feeding too.
For conventional magazines I don’t know of any value gained versus a normal follower - nor can I think of any examples.

Otherwise Sterling comes to mind though that’s a fixed follower with rollers.
