    You are comparing apples and oranges. Biden is not claiming that his tariffs will be paid by China. He is claiming that his tariffs will impede China’s desire to dominate those industries. You could argue whether he is correct or not, but it is clear that the is not making the same claim that Trump made.

      edit 2: also you do not think in the first tweet Biden was criticizing tariffs in general, while then proceeding in the second tweet to impose them?
