    So basically I just look at whatever the US state department, officials, etc are releasing and assume reality is the opposite. This technique’s track record is impeccable.

    Lol, um activist news network with interviews by Gerald Horne are pretty decent. there’s one that Michael Hudson does that’s pretty good. Mintpress news is usually somewhat good. Intercept is hit or miss nowadays. Greyzone also not as reliable. Idk, once you realize that corporate media just keeps playing the same hits over and over again, but more and more mask off, “fact checking” becomes less necessary and more of a joke.
