how do you wear these big scarves when it’s 1 million degrees in the summer?

It’s a light fabric, it’s not terrible to wear in heat, imo.
Maybe if you get a solid black one that’d be different I guess?
Any way you like for the conditions. It’s a good breathable fabric so I use mine a lot in the summer to keep the direct sun off my shoulders and neck while still allowing some airflow. Once temperatures hit like 40 degrees I’m much more comfortable just covering up as much skin as possible and these keffiyehs are great for that purpose too.
It’s a practical accessory in many types of uncomfortable weather and simply a beautiful accessory in all types of weather.
