It’s scary, but if the human is nearby she can conquer it!
Oh snap! How do you get her into the harness? I have such a hard time with my Willow, she’s still not been able to venture out.
Sorry for the criminally late response but here goes.
Usually humans are too impatient. We want it all at once. It took me a year to train her for the harness. Very slowly. First just holding it and sticking my own hand through with treats. Gradually making her push her head through the loop to get the treats.
Eventually you let Willow have it stick loosely on her neck and feed her treats for the first time.
Pandora was approx. 5 years old when we started and had a bad home before. So hopefully a cat with better life experiences that already knows and trusts you might be easier.
