hottest day ever AGAIN hell yeah time to stare without real comprehension at the death of everything
florida will BOIL
10 days. 10 days and I leave this place.
It’s so hot. Being outside feels like being in a video game and not having heat resistant gear, like you can feel the clock ticking down until you start taking damage.
Congrats on getting out
Thank you
My parents moved us here when I was 10 and I’ve wanted to leave since day 1. It’s been over 15 years and my parents moved back out years ago. The only thing keeping me here was my partner finishing her PhD, now that that’s done it’s time to go
I can’t say I’ll miss it, but I’m still scared to leave. I’ve been here so long and I’ve been at this job for most of the time I’ve been working, so the change is scary.
Everything I’ve heard about Florida makes it sound like hell. Congrats to them! A PhD is such an accomplishment.
Definitely, moving is scary. You’ll do okay though, I’m rooting for you.
Change often feels scary, even when the change is eventually for the better. I wish you good luck on your journey!
Congrats and good luck! One of my nightmares is that my family finally agrees to leave the day AFTER whatever fash governor we have erects a shipping container wall at the border and starts rounding up homeless people.
That’s been my fear for a couple years, that shit’s gonna pop off and I’m gonna be on the wrong side of that border
Get me out of this place. It’s full of old people being steamed like a bag of broccoli. The worst part is none of them understand what’s going on. They just keep asking Jesus to make it cold again.
“But surely next year it’ll come back down”
yeah, if we sabotage some refineries
Even if pollution stopped completely right now, it wouldn’t get better so soon, or soon at all. It took time to warm up, it’ll take a lot more to cool down, what I mean is, we’re so much more fcked than we think
hell yeah
alexa, play bass boosted formula 1 theme song
The Atlantic not really putting anything out during hottest July
Earth is going to October Suprise
We did it boys, up and to the right
