      Would lake Wannsee suffice? I wouldn’t want the flute guy to have to walk all the way to the sea.

        I also think it’s hilarious how the Germans switch see and mer… I keep teasing my German friends that they switched it by accident when they stole it from the Dutch.

          Well, See can mean either lake or sea, depending on the gender, and there are lakes in Germany called Meer (Steinhuder Meer, Heiliges Meet).

      Yeah I think depending on which version you know… but im happy the reference wasn’t lost.
