Anyone else deal with this? i have a lot of trauma in my life and it resurfaced often enough to cause me problems. Right now im just medicated, but prehaps i need a therapist
minus-squareslacktoid@lemmy.mllinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·9 months agoYes you do. Something about learning to notice patterns, and learn how to get out of it, and learning to take care of yourself, all that jazz. A good therapist can help with that.
minus-squareiiilinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·edit-26 months agoYes. I’ve gotten the diagnosis earlier this year. For me it came with substance abuse, insomnia and suicidal idolation. If you’re in a financially comfortable position to do so, then there’s no downside to trying out therapy.
