That’s weird, why would Republicans do this? Libertarians probably don’t steal nearly as many of their votes as Greens do Dems, right? And Georgia is one of the most gerrymandered states with the characteristic 3 hour long queues for polls in poor and Black areas while white suburbs are a million times more accessible, so why do they feel the need to give up any advantage here?
The Republican Secretary of State allowed them then Dems sued again to bring it to the GA SC. Probably some inside baseball to get a ruling in their favor. Seems like most ‘moderate’ Repubs are pretty fine with a Kamala win given Cheney and others “switching sides”
