From sadness to despair, anger to resignation, Hamas leader’s death has shaken people in Gaza.

I’ve been thinking about what that Palestinan man said about Sinwar providing Israel the justification for genocide.

I thought when Oct 7th happened “Israel is going to kill so many people”, I thought they would stop (or would be stopped) at 5k, 10k dead but no they (were allowed to) continue.

Would the US and the West have allowed Israel to do this without Oct 7th happening? Probably not. They would’ve likely approved 2021 like attacks but not this. But at the same time I don’t think Gaza was in “peace” before Oct 7. It’s literally a prison, their unemployment rate was like 40%.
