I do. I have a full cat hotel and resort equivalent on my back porch. A whole colony comes and goes. They are spoiled with shredded turkey from the local deli that doesn’t sell. They get big dog bowls of dry food and there is three dog houses filled with straw for the winter. Animals are more pleasant than people. They won’t betray you. This is my wife and I’s hobby.

You first give a rousing speech about how much better animals are, to only then tell us you have a wife. This makes me concerned…

In Spain municipalities are required to feed and care for stray colonies. There are stiff fines for abusing or adopting street cats without municipal approval. There are also potential fines for unauthorized feeding of street cats (though if you want to you can just talk to the muni and get approval). Street cats keep other pests out of neighborhoods. They’re beneficial to everyone - the person those folks want to be pissed at is whoever abandoned an unneutered kitty in the first place.

“Sprays on vehicles” is not the same thing as “shits in cars.”

If someone is dumb enough to leave their car open to where animals can get inside, they deserve what they get.

Unaltered animals are going to mark territory whether you feed them or not.
