Quick note, that’s the English term, where Billlion is 109. A lot other countries use the so called “Long Scale” where 109 is called Milliard, and Billion is 1012.

Comparison of the 2 scales from Wikipedia:

Power of 10 American English (Short Scale) European English (Long Scale)
    106 Million Million
    109 Billion Milliard
    1012 Trillion Billion
    1015 Quadrillion Billiard
    1018 Quintillion Trillion
    1021 Sextillion Trilliard

The last couple kind of lost me. The total value of a movie franchise isn’t a very useful context number nor is the cost of building a space suit. Or maybe that’s the point, that at that level there aren’t really relatable things to compare.
