A version of Garak from an alternate universe was a Starfleet surgeon serving on the Anaximander under Captain William Boimler. He was married to an Emergency Medical Hologram of Julian Bashir from a different reality. He was also a former member of the Obsidian Order, but in his universe Garak had become a surgeon rather than a Deep Space 9 tailor after his spy career was over. (LD: “Fissure Quest”)
