I used to listen to JRE when it was just about wacky coast-to-coast-am type stuff, comedians, drugs, and mma. One of the lingering quotes that stick in my mind is Joe talking about how when someone is being an idiot or antagonistic, he imagines them as a little baby. How they used to be a blank slate of potential and now there’s a long story leading up to this encounter. It apparently helped him calm down and try to be level headed.

What he was talking about is essentially sonder, “The profound feeling of realizing that everyone, including strangers passing in the street, has a life as complex as one’s own, which they are constantly living despite one’s personal lack of awareness of it.”

Anyway, JRE is total garbage now and has been for years and years

Because I like to listen to rational voices outside a woke narrative.

Lmao rational? He is just a goofy guy that talks about what he thinks is cool and can’t stop believing any bullshit he gets told. “Woke” is a dumb word but at least that part of your opinion makes sense as a description of the podcast.

You may be right about the goofy part! But (unless it’s FOX or Trump’s Truth Social feed /s), take care not to make fun of someone for what content they consume. (and if that wasn’t your intention, just ignore everything I said lol)

I didnt say him, I meant his guests. That word is used by legitmate organizations and is an adjective. I dont see how you made that connection. Your opinion is yours, like I have mine.

The world views and opinions that Joe Rogan and his guests are spoon feeding to you are not rational or outside of any woke narrative. If anything they are more scripted and pre-determined than if you just aggregated information from different sources. Please educate yourself.
