These tiny mushrooms popped up in my seed starter tray. The cap of the biggest one, the one in the center seems to have unraveled into this long white string. Does anyone know why it did that or what kind of mushroom this might be?

Leucocorpinus Birnbaumii, also called “the flowerpot mushroom” because it shows up in flowerpots so often.

The “unraveled” one likely didn’t have enough light and grew into a long string trying to find the sun. This is similar to the principal used when cultivating Enoki mushrooms to make them grow into thin white pins instead of the way Flammulina Velutipes typically looks in the wild.
