I’m quite happy with Tidal. Been using it for 6-7 months now.
I know it’s fashionable to hate on Apple (justified or not), but Apple Music is very good. As a bonus, you can bundle it with Apple TV+, which have so many extremely good shows and movies.
I’ve tried a few of them, all with family plans:
Amazon Music: good track selection, awful apps. Horrid integration with Sonos.
YouTube Music: I was using this for quite a while, my kids hated it because of the way the miniplayer worked. I found it frustrating because it would often play a YouTube rip of a song instead of the album track.
Tidal: great choice, but I couldn’t get it to use gapless playback when casting to my receiver.
Apple Music: we’re currently all using this one. Everyone is happy (Android, Chromecast, Sonos, iPhones, iPads, Car Play, and Android Auto). Finally.
Have you tried Napster? That’s not a joke in case you thought it might be
I use Tidal but their servers kind of suck sometimes.
YouTube premium has YouTube music, and it works well enough for me and my extended family
