I agree that there is no use in burning yourself out by fighting legal battles alone, against a huge enemy that does not play by the same rules as you do.
I do however want to warn against uncritically stating that this is the system we‘re in because it can give the impression that this is not changeable.
It is changeable and it has been changed, many times. But we need to understand that this does not work passively by believing it will. We all are needed. We need to encourage speaking up, rallying, even punishing this behavior by an means necessary.
I should have clarified that I was focusing on an individual level.
On a collective level it’s exactly like you said, we [people in general] need to organise ourselves and get rid of this cancer.
