If he’s caught (which I think will be soon) this is a great way to guarantee the maximum sentence. If he’s not caught, he gets to spend the rest of his life hiding and afraid. Either way, the public wins… but I’d rather see him in prison.

The questions is, why was he on house arrest after the guilty verdict? I could understand house arrest during the trial, but after the verdict is rendered?

It was sadly proven he was being mistreated at the facility he was kept at and denied/slow walked medical care for a broken hand.

Because he’s a good old boy they actually cared to do something about it and gave house arrest to his fucking soft ass.

People in for far lesser crimes have died being denied their medications but this guy gets house arrest because he is a fucking wuss.

They should put his hand under a hydraulic press for having used it as a pretext to flee.

When they find him … and they will… Maybe they’ll think twice about being so soft on these rat bastards.

Wasn’t he a ‘Proud Boy?’ I feel like Russia would be against his ‘ideals.’

Although the American ‘Far Right’ has been doing some fairly odd things the last decade or two.

I’m guessing it all goes ‘full circle’ at some point. Tyranny and Oppression and all such.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Authorities are searching for a member of the Proud Boys extremist group who disappeared days before his sentencing in a U.S. Capitol riot case, where prosecutors are seeking more than a decade in prison, according to a warrant made public Friday.

Christopher Worrell, 52, of Naples, Florida, was supposed to be sentenced Friday after being found guilty of spraying pepper spray gel on police officers, as part of the mob storming the Capitol as Congress was certifying Joe Biden’s presidential victory on Jan. 6, 2021.

The sentencing was canceled and a bench warrant for his arrest issued under seal on Tuesday, according to court records.

U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth found Worrell’s medical care for a broken hand had been delayed, and held D.C. jail officials in contempt of court.

Phone numbers listed for Worrell and the woman named as his custodian during his house arrest were not functional.

Former Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio and three other members of the extremist group were convicted of seditious conspiracy in May.
