I left a package of lightlife smart ground unrefrigerated overnight. The main ingredient is soy protein concentrate, and the packaging looks vacuum sealed. Do you think this is safe to eat?

    Yes, absolutely they need to be refrigerated. If it’s vacuum sealed and doesn’t show any expansion, then it’s LESS likely that something bad is happening there, but that’s not a guarantee on its own.

    Personally I would cook it and eat it as soon as possible (today), but I wouldn’t be willing to serve it to guests.

      I felt similarly but wasn’t sure, so I stuck it in the freezer when I noticed
