Sometimes, I want to post something and I wonder “what is the right community for this?”. I know about lemmyverse.net but I feel like mobile apps (android in my case) need some sort of “community list”, so we can easily browse/search for the appropriate community.

I am currently using Eternity/Boost, and neither seem to have that. Or am I missing it somehow?

I find that this is one of the main issues of lemmy/federation.

    In Eternity:

    • tap the magnifying glass on the top
    • search what you want to search for
    • hit the Communities tab to refine your search to communities only

    There is a communities list. Online it’s at /communities. On the app I use you can find communities under Search, where you can filter by local/global, and you can browse a list of all communities under Search -> Explore
