I see qtile, I upvote. I see Qtile on Wayland, I want to upvote one hundred times. It is one of the beat Wayland compositors. I only have 2 issues with Qtile on Wayland: Systray doesn’t work (and StatusNotifier also doesn’t work for some reason and is far from a replacement even if it worked), and the WindowTitle Widget doesn’t always update. So if I’m in a workspace where I have a terminal opened and then I move to a different workspace, or close the opened windows, the window title doesn’t disappear as it should (well, sometimes it does but most times it doesn’t) and that just looks weird. If these 2 problems could be fixed (also, roinded corners would be nice) then I would love to switch back to Qtile, this time on Wayland, full time. Another nice addition would be if there was better support for Wayland sessions by having more distros that package Qtile and its wayland dependencies. Alternatively, if there was a clear guide on installing and setting up Qtile and its session files for both X11 and Wayland when installing via pip, so it can be used on more distros like, for example, Debian.
I should clarify Qtile is my favourite X11 Window Manager and my Third favourite Wayland Compositor (after Hyprland and DWL). If the issues above could be fixed, it would make Qtile simply the best for me on both X11 and Wayland, to the point where I wouldn’t have to even consider any other Window Manager or Compositor.

You can find out how to install Qtile using pip on the README of my dotfiles link posted above.
Wow, thank you! And what about the session file? Is that even possible when installing via pip?
