I think there are very few decisions he could make that would be more likely to trigger a massive political uprising. Fuck around and find out, I suppose.
No one is waiting for them to do the right thing. People are waiting for their “but this affects me!” moments to eat away enough of his support to make moves feasible.
You know what I get super tired of? The fucking fatalism that seems so popular to pop off with in the hopes of a couple little updoots to make oneself feel better about the situation. It isn’t helpful. You are allowed, I can’t stop y’all, but I am exhausted by it.
Yeah fuck off with your exhaustion, your country is threatening to invade my country. Do something about it. Because your lack of doing anything is exhausting me.
The individualism that is a consistent cultural framework around all of the US whinging about ‘don’t blame me’ is where the blame lies. Your collective commitment to eschew any collective responsibility. This is fertile soil for fascism, because apathy is all that’s needed for the takeover.
And then the crying and screaming becomes an even bigger export.
Yeah, if they think these town halls with people screaming at them are bad, they are not going to like what happens if they actually activate all the deranged ‘keep your government hands off my Medicare’ conservatives against them.

You say that, but watch the bootlickers blame this on liberals and minorities for committing too much “fraud.”
That’s exactly what will happen. Waiting for violent conservatives to do the right thing is such a stupid plan.

And so they win: making you hate me for stuff I don’t support and have been trying to prevent for my entire adult life.
Great job everyone, me included.

Yeah exactly.
So how many supporters need to turn against him?
His approval rating is 47%

Yes, but the Palantir model says exactly where that line is, which is why he’s able to be so aggressive with so little pushback.
There have been times Trump overruled the model and started getting pushback but that’s when he reversed a day or two later.
It’s weird, he’s using a massive Ai threat model as basically a poker odds computer, and badly, surely nothing could possibly go wrong here.
