I don’t have a YouTube login on purpose. After having had issues with some random videos asking me to login to confirm my age (no porn or anything, seems to be random harrasment), I now get “log in to prove that you are not a bot” (rough translation).

    “Sign in to confirm that you’re not a bot” usually means your IP is (temporarily) blacklisted by the video server. You can try using a VPN or tor.

      That would be for Android. No, I prefer watching videos on a screen. This happened on Firefox on Linux.

          Installed it, tried it, got an error message that was gone quickly. I’m now searching for an error log, but so far no success.

              I’ve seen short upheavels caused by youtubes greed these days when they complained that they did not like adblockers, but at least the video restarted after a short hiccup. This seems different. No, this is different, I just checked.

      Pipepipe is basically Newpipe with sponsorblock added. I recommend it over Newpipe/Tubular.

    Do you use VPN? I get that error since I started using vpn and I need to switch remote connection.
