But what did he accomplish? He was basically a distraction, why didn’t he ACTUALLY go there. He died a loser hermit who was too afraid to actually join the battle. Made no fuckin sense to have him “sacrifice” himself for basically no reason, no real satisfying conclusion for one of the most popular characters on the planet.
