this will be the most lib thing i will ever comment here (for now) but intimidation is power too. knowing the vast majority of the population of your hometown is ready to stand around in your yard shouting at you, to the guy being shouted at, can be pretty scary.

it’s the implicit threat of violence that comes with those kinds of overwhelming numbers. it’s a first step to the application of such.

Yep. it’s a show of force. it’s saying “imagine us all here but we brought weapons instead”. you don’t have enough bullets to stop us

the ruling class, especially this current one (and the last) are legit terrified of even these shitty lib protests.

there’s a reason Clearview is trying to catalog everyone there for eventual elimination by deputized death squads, Luckey’s murder-drones, and ICE black bag teams.

they understand that even if it’s just a bunch of sleepy boomers with brunch signs there is that implicit threat behind it

Fun Fact: during the Insurrection of 10 August 1792 in France elite, heavily armed Swiss Guards (the best of the best, equivilant to modern SOCOM) were literally overwhelmed and torn to pieces by bare hands, cleavers, and picks. they fought with the best tactics available to them, had access to unlimited stores of ammo, and each regiment covered one in front as they did an orderly retreat in a familiar, fortified palace.

        it didn’t help them.
