It looks to me that all in the class looks at “you”/the one sitting in the back, because they see them as an extremist.
Possibly the only male student (or one of very few) in what looks to be a female-only (or very female-leaning) class or course.
This could also point to some form of “extreme” thinking.
ETA: All the women also seem to be smiling at our “main character” indicating that their extreme thinking may be seen as a good thing.

In the end, subscribing to internet grifts that push the fantasy that believing in a movement will make you more attractive to the opposite sex just makes people act creepy and has the opposite effect.
