Okay but is it really averting a Nuclear Holocaust when you’re the president and you’re entertaining those intrusive thoughts, only to then decide not to initiate a nuclear holocaust? I mean, you don’t really get to say you stopped a mass shooter, when all you did was not go on a mass shooting.

The transcript shows a combative Trump, who was named as a defendant in the case alongside his company and three of his children, at times barely allowing lawyers to get a word in. The former president frequently seems personally offended by the idea that his net worth is being questioned.

I LOL’d big time. Trump can’t phantom fathom the idea of someone finding out he’s not as well off as he tries to convey to the masses.

    Tiny little baby. Awww.

“I averted nuclear holocaust…that I instigated. Anyways, I should be allowed to commit unlimited treasons since I am the nuclear war hero now”

My buddy likes to pretend to push me off of stuff and then grab me immediately saying “saved your life!”. This sounds like that situation

Even though he was under oath, does anyone actually believe this? I mean, except MAGA hats, of course.

Trump gets dumber every time he opens his mouth.

That little barb in there from the state attorney saying they’d be there all night if Trump didn’t stop giving speeches in response to every question is beautiful.

Trump then went on to say that his properties were even more valuable than was reflected in the statements themselves.

And friends of mine have said, you are the most honest person in the world. So we’ve done a good job. Don’t get credit for it. That’s OK.

So perjury, right? I recall someone else who was impeached for perjury on a much flimsier basis.

So he is saying whoever filled that paperwork out lied about the value of his holdings.

      Got it

        Worse than that, really:

Each of Trump’s financial statements includes a number of disclaimers, which acknowledge that Trump’s accountants had not reviewed or authenticated his claims. During the interview, Trump refers to those disclaimers, saying that they essentially render the statements meaningless.

        TRUMP:

I never felt that these statements would be taken very seriously, because you open it up and right at the beginning of the statement, you read a page and a half of stuff saying, go get your own accounting, go get your own this, go get your own that.

        WALLACE:

So why did you get these statements prepared?

        TRUMP:

I would say more for maybe myself just to see the list of properties. I think more for myself than anything else. Sometimes an institution would like to see.

Trump then went on to say that his properties were even more valuable than was reflected in the statements themselves.

“I think you would have nuclear holocaust, if I didn’t deal with North Korea,” he explained, and then added: “And I think you might have a nuclear war now, if you want to know the truth.”

A nuclear war between the US and North Korea would last all of 5 minutes.
