Posting for conversation sake. Interesting thread went on about my alt account over at lemmy.

I honestly don’t know how to deal with some of these accusations.

I’m not sure how not banning people for offering contrarian opinions some how makes us

LItErAlY kILlInG, gEnOcIdE, RaCiSt, anti lgbqtabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

There is not a moderation policy that doesn’t ban any contrary viewpoints that some people will accept.

They are people with serious issues in their personal lives who have adopted an extreme ideology to vent their anger/insecurities out on others

I call it FaggotChan, the lefty equivalent of 4chan

I think it’s mostly like 1 or two people with a billion alts. Some people who seriously seem to be employed by a certain government.

“I think there is a good case for banning people even if it’s not in the rules.”

    What?

The whole point of rules is to document what you are willing to ban for. Arguing that something shouldn’t be a rule, but should still lead to a ban defies the basic foundations of language. I guess they do that quite a lot.

HEY LEMMY I WELCOME ANY AND ALL OF YOU TO DEBATE AND POST HERE, YOU MAY NOT AGREE WITH US BUT YOU WILL BE WELCOMED WITH OPEN ARMS. That being said i take the blame for all of these accusations because of my inflammatory comments and posts, but its all by design to garner a response, but then again you are dealing with some overtly gigantic whiney cunts, especially that one mod who is installing a social credit score on his site by banning others from that site based on shit they said on other sites, they are honestly thin skinned and pathetic at having any type of conversation outside of their beliefs, not everyone iis to blame for the nature of their website but one of the mods is definitely constantly butt hurt about anything he disagrees with which is why after speaking with him I volunteered to leave, for the record they can have their little uninteresting amazen safe space, i welcome them to come here and post and debate but i think they know they dont stand a chance on the battlefield of ideas.

The drama is actually a good thing for the whole ecosystem. It will pull people in, people will share the post on other platforms because they fill strongly one way or the other and it will create a growth bubble.

Watch all involved instances get more users. And more users weaken reddit and big tech. Which is what i’m interested in. The decentralization of information powers.

Edit to be clear I am not saying we should create drama on purpose just that as a unintended consequence more users will leave reddit.

@masterofballs@wolfballs.com I would recommend you avoid Lemmy and like places

Its not going to be good for your mental health to constantly be accused of all this nonsense. All that abuse, and for what benefit ? These people belong in an asylum
