Rabies virus is incurable and almost always fatal once it has invaded the central nervous system, with the victim doomed to suffer a horrible death.

    I know rabies may not be the most wide spread disease in humans but it gives me some of the most fear. The way it takes you out is horrifying… I don’t go hammock camping that often and never without a fly/bug net but the idea a bat could bite me while sleeping is nightmare fuel.

    Hope it can get funding and tested, even if it saves dogs from suffering.
