• Africa becoming China’s China

I wonder what it means anyway. How does one define if a place is China? Is a China’s China a place that - like China, also follows Socialism with their regional characteristics and is a multicultural union1?

1 - Tibet/Xizang, Xinjiang - for example, have cultures and languages far distinct from the Han Chinese yet they are part of China - not that it’s a bad thing

They meant that China will do to Africa same thing that USA did to China, that is deindustrialize themselves and move production there for cheap labour.

It’s basically pure copium plus leathal dose of ignorance about history, politics, sociology and economy.

Shame. I hoped for a more positive definition lmao.

African [leaders] so far have nothing but positive things to say about China, though. (One even said China builds bridges whenever they visit Africa whereas whenever the Brits visit, they just give lectures and do nothing else!)

So I don’t really understand where westerners come up with this kind of stuff. Like you said, it’s ignorant copioid.
