When Felix guests on E1 as the character Jurgen Knaselsen, he has a bit where he’s writing an extensive autobiography called “My Personal Holocaust”, which consists almost entirely of him waxing poetic about his ennui in inner monologues about his family members (who he disapproves of for nebulous or petty reasons), along with occasional arguments. As he puts it, it is

every argument I have ever gotten in with my family, every problem I have ever had, every normal day I’ve had, because the Holocaust was not just ‘kill, kill, kill’, you know? Sometimes they’ll say ‘let us play Parcheesi,’ ‘Let’s have dinner,’ We’re not Nazis all the time, just like during your Personal Holocaust you’ll have a day where you go to the park, you install a TV, you talk to your neighbor.

I mention this because he emphasizes that it’s the most respectful that anyone has ever been of “the Non-personal Holocaust that occurred in Europe” to make this comparison.
