I kinda want that piece of shit corrupt senator (but which one! Laugh track ) Bob Mendez to speak more about his alleged Cuban-American discrimination so it can also become a meme. But Americans are legitimately stupid enough to probably not see that a white guy like ol’ Bob complaining about discrimination is the same as Sil complaining about it after the year like… 1930 lmao. I mean when was the last time Italians were seriously treated as not-white by the Anglos (in America). i think that’s got to do with them being rich, cuban emigres and the rancheros of northern mexico after guadalupe hidalgo had very little trouble adjusting to yankee society, but the discriminated-against whites all came in waves of overwhelmingly poor migrants from europe. if a couple million dirt-poor spanish peasants had ever shown up in boston it’d be a different story, but most spanish immigration obviously went to latin america instead
