An anecdote from when I lived there. There was a guy near me who decorated his lifted truck with three flags: the Trump flag, a blue stripe flag, and the fucking Confederate flag. Anyone who flies that flag this far north is announcing that they are proud to be an openly racist POS. NY has NEVER been anything but hostile to the Confederacy.
