A team of animal scientists from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is set to deliver a potential game changer for subsistence farmers in Tanzania: cows that produce up to 20 times the milk of indigenous breeds.
Every time I see something like this I’m like “man this would be great! Things like this can totally save the environment!”
And then I read something that says the major polluters have sextupled their greenhouse emissions this year or some shit and I’m like “oh. None of the big polluters actually intend on using any of this shit. We are so fucked.”
The state of things are depressing and I often wonder if in thirty years when I look back on this moment if I’ll regret not becoming an eco terrorist.
