      Isn’t there a Vonnegut quote about artists not mattering when faced with state power?

      Found it:

      I always think about Norm Macdonald saying “oh, you know, everyone says comedy is important, comedy takes down bad people. but, you know, in weimar germany, nazi germany, there were politcal cartoons saying hitler was bad and the nazis were bad, and it didn’t acheive a whole lot.”
