Also beware, these apparently have razor blades inside of them do anyone who tries to take them off gets injured.

    It is most likely legal to remove since they are attached to trees in the strip of land (apparently called a “road verge”?) that is public property. Where I live, the property line extends to the sidewalk and everything beyond that belongs to the city and the homeowner gets an easement in exchange for maintaining it. So campaign signs can legally be removed from medians and road verges, but not off private property.
