    Also - remove any landscape cloth you can. The average depth of burrow for ground dwelling solitary bees is about 6 inches. And they can’t burrow through landscape cloth. A diverse mix of native species that flower thru the growing season supports the most species. There are over 6000 species in North American, for instance, and about 60% of them are ground dwelling.

        hate that this is a thing, but yeah that’s smart. lawns are so stupid and harmful, it’s awful how it’s considered the standard

      Fuck landlords in general, but especially those who refuse to allow their tenants to enjoy any kind of nature in their space.
