I made two posts on !anime@lemmy.ml, neither are visible on both instances lemmy.ml are recommending.
beehaw.org has already become a much bigger instance and they ban lemmygrad, we’re already invisible to half the people using lemmy.
It will keep getting worse, at some point you’ll need to maintain two separate instance accounts and you’ll consider dropping one of them.
Wait a second, beehaw is blocking instances because of politics? I don’t like how this sounds.
They call it “trolling” or “human rights abuse denial” if you disagree with the american narrative. You’re not expressing an opinion, you’re outright lying, because the USA media said so.
But Radio Free Europe, and Radio Free Asia are the epitome of journalistic integrity! So good that almost all of US media parrots what they say! Are you telling me that US media would use bad sources for their news stories? That’s crazy talk! (/s just in case)
As a free software enthusiast, I appreciate anything with “Free” in the title, unless it contains “trial” or any word related to journalism or politics.
The other day Mexico moved to privatize some oil companies, american press immediately pushed some articles saying “Liberal democracy is under attack in Mexico”, the title was “The fascist next door”.
I’m not even kidding, too lazy to look it up though.
Don’t you know true freedom is the freedom to poison the atmosphere with free CO2? And put free microplastics into every environment on earth? If I’m not free to pollute anything and everything I might as well be in Nazi Germany
Liberal logic. Distinguishing their ideology based on fair democracy and the “fight for your right to express yourself freely”…
…except when your expression challenges the status quo power structure or what constitutes fair democracy. You know like… every ‘totalitarian’ ideology?
We have plenty of stories if your interested, but suffice it to say the Bee kind shitck seems to be little but hollow words
They tried to get lemmy.ml to defederate from us when they were created because we kept demolishing them in debates.
They defederated almost from day 1, their admin claiming that we were taking up too much of their disk space because we were so active, and it turned out they just didn’t delete some log files.
Nobody from lemmygrad has ever had a nice interaction with beehaw, despite that it’s literally in their rules to be nice etc.

See the “sealioning” rule. It might be useful ammo.
Interesting that they took out all the rules in the sidebar.
I would also caution you against nasty vote manipulators who always strive to manufacture conflict between people, like it is happening to you. I have many internet enemies who like to do this.
Yeah, some Lemmy libs don’t like what we have to say but instead of using their words they just hide behind the anonymous downvote button. I know that my comrades here would not downvote me.
Actually downvotes are not anonymous, they are federated and as such can’t be anonymised, it’s possible to know who downvotes if we went into the database.
