This dude just strolled through like he owned the damn place! Pretty bold.

I think this is one of the cubs I had seen last year roaming the property with their mother. He definitely thinks he owns my trash cans, at least, given how many times I’ve had to clean it up after he’s torn through them.

Nah, they don’t want to fuss with people for the most part. They’re like giant raccoons, big fraidy cats. He didn’t know I was there, if he had, he’d probably run off. They will do a kind of ‘fake charge’ at you if they really want you out of the way and they can’t escape, but that’s about it

Cool, good to know. I always wondered… I haven’t had the luck to interact with wild bears myself!

They’re honestly much more of a nuisance in this area than anything else. Cool to see them about, but I forgot to close the garage door last week one night and had a bear come in and yank open the garage refrigerator (didn’t come into the house, but I bet he would’ve been okay to try if he could!) and yank out a carton of milk.

Woah, I know that they appear a nuisance to you because you are used to them, but experiencing something like that would be a highlight for me - definitely a story I would share a lot!
