Some people here have a really ‘unusual’ sense of humor, probably because we started out as a subreddit for a podcast, and they got their sense of humor from that and other adjacent stuff like cumtown.
I think if someone wants to go read awful reactionary nonsense they can just go on Twitter, the parody and the real thing are indistinguishable anyway.
edit: I made this comment when I was in a bad mood. Nothing against people who have this type of humor. I think this place wouldn’t be the same without it.
I mean it’s not that unusual to do a Stephen Colbert parody type bit but this is more site vibes stuff so I’m staying out of it. Do whatever makes you get along.
And satire is dead etc etc even if most people mean a particular kind of satire they became overly reliant on not working 100% of the time as everyone collectively realized George Carlin didn’t actually figure out everything in life for us
